20 stories from 20 different women collected and recorded over a year.

Objects belonging to first and second generation Chinese women were photographed and their stories documented as part of a wider PhD project. I was asked to create a space, a type of digital archive, where these objects, rich with meaning, could be displayed and their cultural significance preserved. A bold, contemporary take on Chinese-British aesthetic was developed to help shape this unique snapshot into the lives of British-Chinese women, and their journeys forged in this country.
